Chandigarh SHOCKER: Rape victim attacked with acid on her way to court

As per reports, the attackers had covered their faces and were riding on their bikes when they came to attack the victim.

Chandigarh: In a shocking incident an 18-year-old rape victim, who was on her way to the court for hearing on the case was attacked with acid by 2 unidentified men on Monday morning. The victim was on her way to the court when the accused held her and threw acid on her face. The girl was immediately provided with first aid and was rushed to a sector 16 hospital. As per reports, the attackers had covered their faces and were riding on their bikes when they came to attack the victim. As per the victim, the men were stalking her and as soon as they felt no one was watching, they threw acid on victim’s face. Both the attackers fled from the spot after the incident. The cops have now begun an investigation in the case. The girl was raped in 2016 by her own friend. As per sources, the girl had befriended a 17-year-old boy on Facebook, who raped her.
