Sushant Rajput Case: CBI Quizzes Deceased Actor's Flatmate Siddharth Pithani, Visits Cooper Hospital And Bandra Police Station

Sources tracking the CBI probe from close quarters revealed that Pithani is being questioned to put in place the sequence of events from June 13 that led to the June 14 outcome and also to find who all were present in the apartment at the time.

A day after grilling deceased Bollywood star Sushant Singh Rajput's cook Neeraj for almost ten hours in connection with the actor's death, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probed the actor's close friend and flatmate Siddharth Pithani on Saturday . The CBI interrogated Siddharth Pithani after a team of the investigating agency  made a visit at the Cooper hospital and Bandra Police station in connection to their ongoing probe into the actor's death. The CBI which took over the Sushant Singh Rajput death case probe from Mumbai police after the Supreme Court ordered the transfer of the case to the apex investigating body, commenced its investigation in Mumbai on Friday (August 21, 2020). According to sources tracking developments on this case, the CBI wanted to question Pithani over a few pertinent questions related to the intervening night of June 13 and 14. Sources tracking the CBI probe from close quarters revealed that Pithani is being questioned to put together the chain of events from June 13 that led to the June 14 outcome and also to find who all were present in the apartment at the time of the actor's death. The Special Investigation Team of the CBI probing the death of Sushant Singh Rajput on Saturday reached the Bandra flat of the deceased actor, where he was found dead on June 14.

On Friday, the CBI questioned Sushant Rajput's cook Neeraj for over 10 hours, besides Sushant's other staff Dipesh Swanat and his house manager Samuel Miranda were also probed extensively. Miranda was questioned for over five hours by the CBI. The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is operating with multiple teams in probing the case from multi-angles, sources said. One of the federal probe teams arrived at the Bandra Police station to speak to the police personnel who were on duty on June 14 and visited the flat of the late actor.
