Sushant Singh Rajput Case: Soon after landing in Mumbai, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has sprung into action in the high-profile death case of rising Bollywood star Sushant Singh Rajput. Fans and friends of the deceased actor have high hopes pinned to the probe agency’s investigation, as the case had been caught up in jurisdiction controversies between Bihar and Mumbai police. Even two months after the incident the case seems to be knotted in a complicated manner.   • CBI officials on Friday morning brought Rajputs cook Neeraj for enquiry at DRDO and IAF guest house in suburban Santa Cruz, where the visiting probe team members are staying. He was contacted by the CBI on Thursday evening and was asked to give his statement today.  A vehicle, in which the cook was seen sitting next to a CBI official, was spotted entering the guest house complex.
  • Sushant Singh Rajput's housekeeping manager Samuel Miranda has been called for questioning
  • It is to be noted that two CBI teams have been working on the case. One team will interrogate the people involved in the case and the other team is doing the work of documentation.
  • It will also scan financial transactions of the 34- year-old actor.
  • The other team of CBI, , led by a superintendent-rank officer, has reached the Bandra Police Station , where an ADR (accidental death report) was registered after the alleged suicide by the actor .
  • The team also met and interrogated DCP Abhishek Trimukhe, who was earlier  heading the Mumbai police probe team.
  • They collected  Sushant's death case diary, autopsy reports, photographs, statements, post mortem reports and others for examination.
  • The CBI squad will also visit Rajputs flat in 'Mont Blanc' building where he was found hanging. The team will recreate the crime scene at the spot during the investigation, sources have stated.

The Supreme Court on Wednesday pronounced verdict in the much awaited case and said that CBI will continue its probe in the death case, dismissing Rhea Chakraborty’s plea.
