Budget Session 2022: China Border Tension, Inflation Among Key Issues To Be Raised By Congress
Among the issues that were decided in the meeting were, relief package to Covid-19 victims, Air India disinvestment, inflation, border issue with China and farmer’s issue.
New Delhi: The Congress Parliamentary Strategy Group meeting was held today via video conferencing ahead of the upcoming Budget Session.
The meeting was headed by Chairperson Sonia Gandhi and AK Antony, KC Venugopal, Mallikarjun Kharge, Adhir Ranjan Chowdhary, Anand Sharma, Gaurav Gogoi, K Suresh, Jairam Ramesh, Manickam Tagore, and Manish Tewari were the members present among others.
The party in its Parliamentary Strategy Group Meeting discussed the issues that they would raise during the budget session of the Parliament.

The party also said that it has decided to coordinate with like-minded parties on the issue, reported ANI.
The budget session of the Parliament will commence from January 31 amid electioneering for assembly elections to five states, Manipur, Goa, Punjab, Uttarakhand, and Uttar Pradesh.
President Ramnath Kovind will address the joint sitting of the two Houses on January 31 after which the Union Budget will be presented on February 1.
The first part of the Budget Session will be from January 31 till February 11. The second part of the budget will commence from March 14 till April 8.
