Bihar CM Nitish Kumar announces an ex-gratia of Rs 2 Lakhs to the next of kin of Dilkhush Kumar, who was shot dead by terrorists in Budgam, J&K yesterday. He also announces benefits to them from the Labour Resources Department & Social Welfare Department of Bihar.
"Saddened by the killing of Dilkhush Kumar ji of Bihar in the terrorist attack in Budgam, Jammu and Kashmir. Two lakh will be given to his immediate dependent from the Chief Minister's Relief Fund. Apart from this, other benefits will be given as per rules from the schemes run by Labor Resource Department and Social Welfare Department," he tweeted.
J&K: Soldier Succumbs To Injuries Sustained In Shopian Car Blast
A soldier died at an Army hospital in Jammu and Kashmir's Udhampur on Friday, a day after he was severely injured in an explosion inside a private hired vehicle in Shopian district.
"Naik Praveen, who was grievously injured in the blast at Sedow in Shopian, was transferred to Command Hospital, Udhampur, where he succumbed to injuries," a defence spokesperson said.
