Tata Sons has submitted a bid for Air India disinvestment today, government sources close to the development told news agency ANI.

Meanwhile, the Department of Investment and Public Asset Management (DIPAM) has said that the financial bids for Air India disinvestment received by Transaction Adviser. The process now moves to the concluding stage.

Breaking News LIVE: Delhi Govt to earn Rs 3000 Cr extra revenue under new excise policy, says Sisodia

Addressing a press conference, Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said that the Delhi govt earned 41 per cent less revenue last year due to COVID-19. He further said that the govt has earned 23 per cent less revenue in the current financial year.

Sisodia said that the Delhi govt will earn Rs 3,000 crore extra revenue in the next 12 months under the new excise policy. He also informed that the Delhi government will earn around Rs 10,000 crore from bidding of liquor stores in 32 zones.
