S. Jaishankar To Visit Ahmedabad On Tuesday To Speak On Foreign Policy 

The External Affairs Minister (EAM) S. Jaishankar has a scheduled visit to Ahmedabad on Tuesday, during which he will have interactions with the media in the afternoon, followed by an interactive session.

The session, slated to be held at the Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI), will delve into the theme of 'International Policy: A Catalyst to Viksit Bharat', aiming to provide insights into how foreign policy shapes India's developmental trajectory. Additionally, he will have a meeting with the chairperson of GCCI during his visit. Apart from his public engagements, the EAM is also expected to hold discussions with BJP leaders from Gujarat. 

Home Minister Amit Shah To Visit Karnataka For Election Campaign

Union Home Minister Amit Shah Will kick-start the election campaign in Karnataka on April 2 from Bengaluru, marking the first public rally after the announcement of the Lok Sabha elections to convey a message of unity across the nation.

V. Sunil Kumar, BJP State General Secretary, revealed during a press conference that Home Minister Amit Shah will engage in a day-long campaign in Karnataka on April 2. "Home Minister Amit Shah's campaigning will infuse new spirit among us. He will commence the day's activities with a convention in Bengaluru," Kumar said.

He stated that D.K. Suresh's statement on dividing the nation depicts the Congress mindset while BJP aims to unite the country.

“Home Minister Amit Shah is scheduled to arrive in Bengaluru at 9 a.m. on April 2 and will convene a breakfast meeting with BJP and JD-S leaders. He will address a convention at the Bengaluru Palace Grounds, targeting voters from Bengaluru North, Bengaluru Central, Bengaluru South, Bengaluru Rural, and Chikkaballapur Parliamentary constituencies,” Kumar said.

Joe Biden Holds Talks With Chinese President Xi Jinping

US President Joe Biden had a conversation with Chinese President Xi Jinping, which comes after their meeting in Woodside, California, in November 2023. During the call, the two leaders engaged in candid and constructive discussion on a range of bilateral, regional, and global issues, including areas of cooperation and areas of difference. They reviewed and encouraged progress on significant issues discussed at the Woodside Summit, including counternarcotics cooperation, ongoing military-to-military communication, talks to address AI-related risks, and continuing efforts on climate change and people-to-people exchanges, said The White House.

ED In Srinagar Has Provisionally Seized Movable And Immovable Assets Worth Of Rs 1.56 Crore

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) in Srinagar has provisionally seized movable and immovable assets valued at Rs. 1.56 Crore. These assets include land measuring 01 Kanal, and 03 Marlas, located in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, along with a two-story residential building constructed on it, and a vehicle belonging to Niamat Ali Bhat. This action is part of an investigation related to Hakeem Imtiyaz, a Junior Engineer with the R&B Department, Jammu and Kashmir, conducted under the guidelines of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002, ED confirmed.
