Fire Erupts In Godan Express
In another similar incident, a fire broke out in a seating-cum-luggage coach of the Mumbai-Gorakhpur Godan Express near Nashik Road station on March 22.
As per Railway officials, the fire erupted when the train was on its way to Gorakhpur in Uttar Pradesh from Mumbai. As the fire broke out, some of the passengers jumped out of the train in panic when it stopped.
Nashik Road Deputy Station Master Pritesh Dubey informed the fire brigade about the fire. Until the arrival of the brigade, the railway personnel tried to douse the flames with foam.
