Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav: PM Modi To Deliver Keynote Address, To Flag Off 7 Initiatives Of Brahma Kumaris

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will deliver a keynote address at the national launch ceremony of ‘Azadi Ke Amrit Mahotsav se Swarnim Bharat Ke Ore’ today at 10:30 AM through virtual mode. 

Yearlong initiatives dedicated to Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav by the Brahma Kumaris will be unveiled as part of the program. These initiatives include over 30 campaigns and more than 15,000 programs and events, according to a statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office. 

Brahma Kumaris is a worldwide spiritual movement that was founded in India in 1937 and is dedicated to personal transformation and world renewal. The movement has spread to more than 130 countries worldwide. 

The event is being held on the occasion of the 53rd Ascension Anniversary of Pitashree Prajapita Brahma, who founded the Brahma Kumaris.

Initiatives To Be Unveiled By Prime Minister Narendra Modi

The Prime Minister will unveil seven initiatives of Brahma Kumaris during the event, including ‘My India Healthy India’, ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat: Self Reliant Farmers’, ‘Women: Flag Bearers of India’, ‘Power of Peace Bus Campaign’, ‘Andekha Bharat Cycle Rally’, ‘United India Motor Bike Campaign’ and green initiatives under the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.

Multiple events and programs will be held in medical colleges and hospitals in the ‘My India Healthy India’ initiative. These events will focus on spirituality, well-being, and nutrition.

Medical camps will be organised, along with cancer screening, conferences for doctors and other health care workers, among others. 

As many as 75 Farmer Empowerment Campaigns, 75 Farmer Conferences, 75 Sustainable Yogic Farming Training Programs, and other initiatives for the benefit of farmers will be held under the ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat: Self Reliant Farmers’ initiative. 

The initiatives under ‘Women: Flag Bearers of India’, will focus on social transformation through women empowerment and empowerment of girl child.

As many as 75 cities and Tehsils will be covered under the ‘Power of Peace Bus Campaign’, and will carry an exhibition on positive transformation of the younger generation.

The Andekha Bharat Cycle Rally will be held at different heritage sites to draw a connection between heritage and the environment. 

The United India Motor Bike Campaign, which will be held from Mount Abu to Delhi, will cover multiple cities. 

Under the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, the initiatives will focus on cleanliness drives, community cleaning programmes, and awareness campaigns.

A song dedicated to Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, by Grammy Award winner Mr. Ricky Kej, will also be released during the event.
