Ayodhya Deepotsav 2022: 16 Tableaux Based On Ramayana Episodes Taken Out In Holy City
Tourism and Culture Minister Jaiveer Singh led the parade of themed tableaus from Udaya Intersection to Ram Katha Park in Ayodhya.
The sixth edition of 'Deepotsav' celebrations began on Sunday morning with sixteen spectacular tableaux based on Ramayana episodes performed in the holy city.

Speaking on the occasion, the Minister of Tourism and Culture stated that the stage is set for grand Deepotsav celebrations in 'Ram Nagari' today, adding that the number of diyas (earthen lamps) lit up to celebrate Deepotsav will set a new world record. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will perform the symbolic coronation of Lord Ram during this Deepotsav.

"The Deepotsav celebrations will remindvisitors of Ayodhya as it was in Tretayuga when Lord Ram returned toAyodhya after conquering Lanka and how the people of Ayodhya hadwelcomed him. Treaty will come alive today in Ayodhya," he was quoted as saying by news agency ANI.
Jaiveer Singh went on to say that the event will introduce the world to India's rich Sanatan culture and traditions, as well as the importance of Lord Ram to every Indian.
"The tableaux were designed by the Tourism and Information departments and will replicate Balkans, Ayodhyakand, Kishkindhakand, Aranyakand, and Lanka Kand episodes, as well as providing glimpses of the Yogi government's campaign against criminal sand land mafia," Tourism and Culture Minister said, ANI reported.
On the eve of Deepawali, the 'janmbhoomi' of Lord Rama witnessing grand 'Deepotsav' celebrations in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Ayodhya will be adorned with countless indigenous and exotic flowers during the Deepotsav, which is setting new records.
