Rajasthan Man Goes Missing After Being Swept Away By Strong Currents

A similar incident was reported in Rajasthan on August 6, where a man was swept away in strong currents and went missing while taking a bath near a waterfall in the Bhilwara district. The incident took place in Menal, a famous tourist spot located on the Bhilwara-Chittorgarh-Kota National Highway in Rajasthan.

A video of the incident has gone viral on social media, showing two youths clinging to a rope while others attempt to pull them away from the strong river currents.

The one-minute video captures the youths gripping a rope, seemingly part of a fence. While one boy manages to hold on, the other is seen being swept away by the strong current.

After being carried about 100 meters, the boy fell nearly 150 feet from the waterfall. The rescue team has found one of the youths, but they are still searching for another.

Several reports indicated that the youths endangered their lives to take selfies and make reels in the strong currents of the river.
