Amritsar train tragedy: Shiv Sena takes on ally BJP via its 'blood smeared acche din' jibe

Lashing out at BJP, the article read “After Jalianwala Bagh massacre, another shocking incident has taken place in Punjab. Jalianwala Bagh took place under British rule, whereas Amritsar murder case took place during independence"

New Delhi: Three days after tragic incident shook Amritsar; those in power can be seen indulging in blame game politics over the death of 62 people; as no one is ready to take the responsibility of the loss of so many lives. Amid the blame-game and tug of war, BJP ally Shiv Sena has taken on BJP over the incident via its mouthpiece Saamna, via its ‘Ye khoon se sane acche din hain’ (These are blood smeared good days) jibe. Lashing out at BJP, the article read “After Jalianwala Bagh massacre, another shocking incident has taken place in Punjab. Jalianwala Bagh took place under British rule, whereas Amritsar murder case took place during independence. In spite of the independence, it is in fate of people to die a death like ants and insects”. The article further reads that “’people are dying in the fields. It has become a normal thing for people to die in road accidents. We talk about development and growth, but railways have gone down the drain.”It further said that, it is surprising to see that in spite of  broken tracks, poor signal and uncertain time tables, we do Dandiya in the name of ‘bullet train’. Sena further wrote that if a big Railway incident takes place, railway minister resigns and joins another department, this has become a trend. “Suresh Prabhu left, then Piyush Goyal came and promised that railway journey will be safe and disciplined”.
