Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu paid his respects to scores of people who came for the relaunch from across the state, including officials, Amaravati farmers, ministers, media and others.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday thanked everyone who made the Amaravati construction relaunch by Prime Minister Narendra Modi a success. On Friday, PM Modi laid the foundation and inaugurated projects worth Rs 58,000 crore in Andhra Pradesh, which also included the reconstruction effort of the greenfield capital city of Amaravati.

The chief minister paid his respects to scores of people who came for the relaunch from across the state, including officials, Amaravati farmers, ministers, media and others.

"I would like to thank everybody who made Amaravati construction relaunch by Prime Minister Narendra Modi a success," said Naidu in a post on 'X'.

The TDP supremo vowed that a future city will be built with proper planning, people's cooperation and central support to generate "opportunities for everybody".

Further, the CM promised to live up to the faith people reposed in the TDP-led NDA government and noted that Amaravati will emerge as a powerful place.

On Friday, Chandrababu Naidu told Prime Minister Modi that all the five crore people of the state are with him in his fight against terrorism. The CM extended this support during the relaunching of Amaravati greenfield capital city construction works by PM Modi.

"We are pledging that we will stand by PM Modi and the central government's every move to crackdown on terrorism," said Naidu, addressing the public meeting.

Naidu told PM Modi that the five crore people of Andhra Pradesh and the entire country are with him.

Naidu briefly switched to Hindi in his speech, reading out: "Modiji, hum apke saath hai, Andhra Pradesh ke panch crore log apke saath hain, poora desh apke saath hain".

Later, the public meeting reverberated to the chants of 'Vandemataram' and 'Bharat Mata Ki Jai', called by Naidu.
