After Mayawati Casts Him Aside, Owaisi Ready To Give Mukhtar Ansari Election Ticket

UP Elections: AIMIM UP president Shaukat Ali has announced that his party is ready to accept Mukhtar Ansari. "He is innocent until proven guilty.", said Shaukat Ali.

UP Assembly Election 2022: All India Majlis-e-Ittehad-ul-Muslimeen (AIMIM) has offered Mukhtar Ansari a chance to join their party. The party's UP president Shaukat Ali has said that it is ready to accept Mukhtar Ansari into the party and Mukhtar Ansari will be given a ticket if he wants. 

Shaukat Ali says, "He is innocent until proven guilty." AIMIM is considering Atiq Ahmed aside from Mukhtar Ansari to be a part of the party.

Shaukat Ali has alleged that all Muslims are being treated unfairly in society, he has questioned Mayawati's decision to include Atul Rai, BSP MP from Ghosi who has been accused of rape. He said that AIMIM's presence has perplexed BJP and SP, which is why Owaisi has been booked under a made-up case.

Owaisi did not make any comment which would lead to animosity hence, these cases filed against him are totally baseless and false, he added.

BSP distances itself from Mukhtar Ansari

It has been noticed that BSP has been distancing itself from former mafia leader and politician Mukhtar Ansari. BSP president Mayawati today announced that the party would no longer be giving a contesting ticket to Ansari. She has announced that Bhim Rajbhar, BSP State President would be replacing Ansari as a candidate for the Mau seat.

Mayawati said that she would no longer allow criminals and mafia leaders to represent her party in the elections. Bhim Rajbhar had contested from Mau seat in 2012 on a BSP ticket but was defeated by nearly 6,000 votes by Mukhtar Ansari, who had contested on behalf of Qaumi Ekta Dal back then.
