Ahead Of Union Budget 2021, PM Modi To Address Year's First 'Mann Ki Baat' Today

PM Modi will address the nation at 11am in the first 'Mann Ki Baat' of the year 2021. PM Modi's address also comes a day before Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will table the Union Budget.

Ahead of the Union Budget 2021, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the nation on his monthly radio programme 'Mann Ki Baat' today. This will be PM Modi's first Mann ki Baat in the year 2021 and he will address the country at 11 am today.

This Mann Ki Baat is the 73rd episode of PM Modi's monthly radio programme. 

"Tune in tomorrow, 31st January at 11 AM. #MannKiBaat," PM Modi said in a tweet on Saturday.

In the last episode of Mann Ki Baat, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had said that demand for India made products was increasing across the country, with people supporting the cause of ‘vocal for local’. 

He had also appealed to the citizens to take new year resolutions for the betterment of the country, use more local products in their day-to-day lives and aim to make the country free from plastic.

PM Modi's 'Mann Ki Baat' also comes in the backdrop of the violence that broke out on Republic Day when hundreds of farmers took to the streets of Delhi on tractors to protest against three controversial farm laws.

While the farmers continue their agitation at Delhi borders and the leadership of Rakesh Tikait, government has taken strict measures and suspended the internet till 31st January at Ghazipur, Singhu, and Tikri border.
