PM Modi, Delhi CM Kejriwal, Cong President Kharge Join India In Hailing ISRO's Aditya-L1 Solar Mission Launch

ISRO on Saturday successfully launched Aditya-L1 following which congratulations poured from across the nation including from PM Modi, Amit Shah, S Jaishankar and other leaders.

Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) on Saturday successfully launched its first mission to the sun, Aditya-L1. Leaders from across the nation have poured in their best wishes and congratulated the scientists and engineers at ISRO for their hard work. and achievement. Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that tireless scientific efforts will continue in order to develop a better understanding of the Universe for the welfare of entire humanity. He took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to write, "After the success of Chandrayaan-3, India continues its space journey. Congratulations to our scientists and engineers at ISRO for the successful launch of India’s first Solar Mission, Aditya -L1. Our tireless scientific efforts will continue in order to develop a better understanding of the Universe for the welfare of entire humanity."

Delhi Chief Miniter wrote, "Congratulations to ISRO and all our Indians for the successful launch of Aditya-L1, India’s maiden solar mission. This historic achievement marks another giant leap in space exploration. This Mission carries the hopes of billions and I pray for its triumph. Jai Hind."

Union Home Minister Amit Shah wrote, "Time and again our scientists have proved their might and brilliance. The nation is proud and delighted over the successful launch of Aditya L1, India's first solar mission. Kudos to the team ISRO for this unparalleled accomplishment. It is a giant stride towards fulfilling PM Narendra Modi Ji's vision of an Atmanirbhar Bharat in the space sector, during the Amrit Kaal."

Congress national president Mallikarjun Kharge wrote, "We are indebted and grateful to our scientists, space engineers, researchers and our hard-working personnel at ISRO for the successful launch of #AdityaL1 - Solar Observation Mission."

Union Minister of Earth Sciences Kiren Rijiju wrote, "Huge congratulations to ISRO on the very successful launch of #AdityaL1, India's ambitious mission to study the Sun. The whole nation is super excited and feels extremely proud of our super scientists! Wishing for accomplishing all its objectives!"

Union Minister for External Affairs S Jaishankar wrote, "Congratulations on the successful launch of India’s first Solar Mission, Aditya -L1. This is yet another feather in ISRO's cap. Their achievements continue to inspire the nation and raise our global profile."

Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal wrote, "Heartfelt congratulations to ISRO for the triumphant launch of Aditya-L1. This marks a historic achievement as the first Indian space-based observatory dedicated to studying the Sun, illuminating yet another milestone in #NewIndia's remarkable journey of space exploration!"

Union Minister of State for Science and Technology Dr Jitendra Singh on the successful launch of the Aditya L1 mission said, "While the whole world watched this with bated breath, It is indeed a sunshine moment for India. Indian scientists had been working, toiling day and night for years and years together, but now comes the moment of indication,  the moment of redeeming the pledge to the nation. The successful launch of Aditya L1 is also a testimony to the whole-of-science and whole-of-nation approach that we have sought to adopt in our work culture."

ISRO chief S Somnath during an address said, "The Aditya L1 spacecraft has been injected in an elliptical orbit...which is intended very precisely by the PSLV. I want to congratulate the PSLV for such a different mission approach today to put Aditya L1 in the right orbit."

Project Director of Aditya L-1, Nigar Shaji said, "This is like a dream come true. I am extremely happy that Aditya L-1 has been injected by PSLV. Aditya L-1 has started its 125 days of long journey. Once Aditya L-1 is commissioned, it will be an asset to the country and the global scientific fraternity. I want to thank the entire team for their support and guidance in making this mission possible."
