Accused Of Wife's Murder, UP MLA Aman Mani Tripathi Ties The Knot Again; Read Details Here

New Delhi: Aman Mani Tripathi, an independent legislator from the Nautanwa Assembly seat, got married for the second time on Tuesday night at a hotel. According to a report by IANS, UP MLA Aman Tripathi married Oshin Pandey of Madhya Pradesh and the wedding was a small private affair. The legislator's sisters and other relatives attended the wedding.
Aman Mani Tripathi, currently out on bail is accused of murdering his wife, Sara Singh The Central Bureau of Investigation formally charged Aman Mani Tripathi, son of four-time Uttar Pradesh legislator Amar Mani Tripathi, of murder in 2016. “During the investigation, it was found that after her marriage, Sara Singh was allegedly being subjected to physical torture and cruelty by the accused. She was allegedly murdered on July 9, 2015, with a premeditated plan to get rid of her by the accused and others. The accused framed it as a fake road accident and presented the same as the cause of death of victim Sara Singh,” the CBI said in a statement. Aman claims that Sara, 27, died in a road accident, but the CBI arrested him in November 2016 after his in-laws lodged a murder case against him. He had earlier been arrested for the alleged kidnapping of a businessman in Lucknow. Aman Mani Tripathi was booked for using CM Yogi's name to travel to Badrinath  On May 4th, the controversial MLA,  hit the headlines during lockdown when he traveled to Uttarakhand, claiming that he had been assigned the task of offering prayers for the deceased father of UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in Badrinath-the shrine was closed at that time. The Yogi Adityanath government issued a denial in the matter and Aman Mani and his six friends were quarantined for a fortnight in the hill state and a case was also registered against them. Amar Mani Tripathi is serving life imprisonment with wife in Madhumita murder case Aman Mani’s parents, father Amar Mani Tripathi and mother Madhu Mani are serving a life term for murdering a poetess, Madhumita Shukla, in 2003. Tripathi, his wife Madhumani and two others – Rohit Chaturvedi and Santosh Kumar Rai were convicted and sentenced to life imprisonment by the Dehradun court in 2007 for hatching a conspiracy and killing Shukla in Lucknow in 2003. According to reports, the CBI released a statement in 2007 and said "It was found that Madhumita Shukla was murdered pursuant to a criminal conspiracy hatched by Amarmani Tripathi, his wife Madhumani Tripathi and Rohit Chaturvedi, who engaged accused Santosh Kumar Rai alias Satya Prakash, and Prakash Chander Pandey alias Pappu to murder the poetess". During further investigation, it was revealed that Shukla was being pressurized by Tripathi to abort the child she had conceived through her relations with the MLA, the CBI said.
