ABP News-CVoter Survey: BJP Continues To Dominate Over SP, BSP In Projected Vote Share For UP Polls

ABP News-CVoter Survey: As the political atmosphere in Uttar Pradesh is already heated up with assembly elections approaching in early 2022, the ABP News-CVoter survey reveals the mood on the ground as to which party appears to have the best chance of coming to power.
Uttar Pradesh, being the largest Indian state along with its significance in Hindi heartland, is the biggest contest in the upcoming assembly polls wherein ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Samajwadi Party (SP), Congress, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) are all striving to win the voters’ trust.

ABP News in its weekly survey with CVoter sought to know which party currently has the edge in terms of forming government in Uttar Pradesh.
In this ABP-CVoter survey, over 11 thousand responses were received from Uttar Pradesh between November 25 to December 1.
According to the projections, the ruling BJP is racing ahead as it is expected to get 41 per cent of votes, followed by Samajwadi Party predicted to gain 33 per cent of votes. The BSP emerged as the third biggest party with its vote share predicted to be at 13 per cent. According to the survey, Congress can manage to secure 8 per cent of votes. Meanwhile, others can gain 5 per cent vote share.

There has not been much change in this week’s survey projections as compared to last week’s figures. BJP and its allies increased their vote share by one per cent as in the previous survey, they were expected to secure 40 per cent of votes.
The Samajwadi Party and its allies have also seen an increase of one per cent, they were expected to have a 32 per cent vote share last week.
BSP has lost one per cent vote share in this survey result whereas Congress has seen no change in how the party is expected to perform.

So far, the projections paint a hopeful picture for CM Adityanath led-BJP while Akhilesh Yadav-led SP appears to be its biggest challenger.
