AAP infighting: Vishwas made Rajasthan in-charge, Amanatullah suspended from party
NEW DELHI: The Aam Aadmi Party on Wednesday suspended controversial MLA Amanatullah Khan, who had launched an offensive against senior leader Kumar Vishwas, from its primary membership.
The decision was taken in the AAP's PAC meet.
The PAC appointed Kumar Vishwas as Rajasthan poll in-charge and also formed a committee to probe allegations laid by by Khan against Vishwas.
The party had left no stone un-turned in ensuring that its founder Kumar Vishwas doesn’t leave the party. Kejriwal and senior party leaders made consistent efforts all night to convince Vishwas for staying back.
As per sources, Vishwas was adamant about sticking to his demand of sacking Amanatullah Khan from the party. Khan, who had already tendered his resignation from party’s PAC, had angered Vishwas by pointing fingers against him and accusing him of working for BJP.
On Tuesday, Kumar in an interview Kumar accused the party leaders of conspiring against him. Asserting that he won't compromise with his principles, he said that he would soon take a call on his future action.
The poet turned politician also asserted that he won’t keep silent on the mistakes of the Aam Aadmi party and declared that he is not interested in becoming Chief Minister ever.
Taking his anger to the next level, Vishwas hinted at leaving Aam Aadmi Party and said that he would not join any party after this.
Amanatullah accuses Vishwas:
Amanatullah had accused Vishwas of behind hand-in-glove with Bharatiya Janta Party and running a conspiracy against AAP. He had also said that ‘Vishwas was attempting to bring internal rift in Aam Aadmi Party on the order from BJP’.
