AAP in deep soup: Here are 5 controversies Arvind Kejriwal's party landed in
New Delhi: The Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's Aam Aadmi Party is in deep soup these days with many MLAs of the party getting involved in different cases.
On Friday, where on the one hand protests were held against Kejriwal in Ahmedabad, in Delhi, on the other hand, arrest threats loomed on party MLAs. Yet, there are others who were reaching Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) to record their statements.
Nearly, 900 km away from Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal reached Gujarat to make his presence felt in the state and gain some votes but was meet with demonstrations. Delhi CM is being criticised these days for asking proof of surgical strikes by army.
Meanwhile here in Delhi, there was a storm of allegations against party MLAs.

Controversy number 1:
Extortion case
AAP MLA from Matiala Gulab Singh who is also presently in-charge of Gujarat unit is in trouble. A non-bailable warrant (NBW) was issued on Thursday against Gulab Singh for failing to join investigations in an extortion case.
Controversy number 2:
Alleged recruitment scam in Delhi Commission for Women (DCW)
On Friday, the Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB) questioned Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia for nearly three hours in connection with its probe into an alleged recruitment scam in Delhi Commission for Women (DCW).
He was summoned by the ACB on October 7 informing him about the questioning.
Controversy number 3:
Parliamentary secretaries issue
The Election Commission of India (ECI) has given 21 AAP legislators of Delhi time till October 17 to explain why they should not be disqualified from the assembly after their appointment as parliamentary secretaries.
Deputy CM Sisodia has, on Friday, clarified that the AAP government has not provided any kind of "pecuniary benefit" to the 21 MLAs who were appointed parliamentary secretaries.
Controversy number 4:
Examination of 400 files
On Friday, Lt Governor Najeeb Jung turned down AAP government's request to dissolve Shunglu Committee. Shunglu Committee is examining 400 files on decisions taken by the AAP regime.
Controversy number 5:
Arrest of Naresh Balyan
Delhi Police on Friday arrested AAP MLA Naresh Balyan, who was last week booked for allegedly assaulting president of Mohan Garden RWA, Henry George.
