AAP crisis: After Kapil Mishra's ouster, Kumar Vishwas hints at more rebellion in party
NEW DELHI: Senior Aam Aadmi Party leader Kumar Vishwas has hinted more rebellion in the party after Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal sacked his aide Kapil Mishra as water minister of Delhi.
Aafter his removal, Mishra hinted that he was removed because "I told Kejriwal that I would not tolerate delay in tanker scam report and would submit names of those who were involved in delaying the case in the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB).
Soon after the move, Mishra claimed he would "expose" the involvement of certain AAP leaders in an alleged scam in the supply of water on Sunday.
Mishra said he had met the chief minister earlier in the day and handed over documents related to the alleged scam
Mishra said he will interact with the media at 11:00 am.
Soon after Mishra's ouster, Vishwas took to Twitter to air his rebellious mood. When Kapil Mishra posted a letter on Twitter addressed to Delhi ACB Chief M.K. Meena asking him why former Delhi chief minister Sheila Dikshit has not been questioned, Vishwas re-tweeted Mishra's tweet and said: "No compromise on corruption".सुबह 11:30 am राजघाट - जो बातें अरविंद केजरीवाल जी को बताई थी कल सुबह वो सारे देश को बताऊंगा।

भ्रष्टाचार पर कोई समझौता नहीं @KapilMishraAAP ???????????????????? https://t.co/dhl00TDJfM — Dr Kumar Vishvas (@DrKumarVishwas) May 6, 2017In his next tweet, he vowed to continue the fight against corruption in and outside the party.
देश और कार्यकर्ताओं को भरोसा दिलाता हूँ कि हम भ्रष्टाचार के खिलाफ अंदर और बाहर आवाज़ उठाना जारी रखेंगे,परिणाम चाहे कुछ भी हो!भारतमाता की जय — Dr Kumar Vishvas (@DrKumarVishwas) May 6, 2017In his last tweet, Vishwas hinted at launching another Jantar-Mantar type movement against corruption.
— Dr Kumar Vishvas (@DrKumarVishwas) May 6, 2017Gandhian Anna Hazare started a hunger-strike at Jantar-Mantar from April 5, 2011 to demand anti-corruption Lokpal Bill. The historic movement had the support of virtually entire nation. Later, the movement died a slow death but it gave birth to the AAP, which rules Delhi. It was Hazare's movement that also gave political fame to Arvind Kejriwal, Kumar Vishwas, Manish Sisodia, Prashant Bhusan, and Yogendra Yadav etcetera. They had formed the AAP against the wishes of Hazare. Kejriwal-led AAP has already sacked Bhushan and Yadav from the party. Vishwas, a member of AAP's Political Affairs Committee (PAC) member, has not been part of any governmental post. In the recent past, Vishwas has locked horns with Kejriwal. In order to pacify him, Kejriwal made Vishwas in-charge of Rajasthan and also sacked AAP MLA Amanatullah Khan from the PAC, who had alleged that Vishwas was dancing to the tunes of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). With Mishra's removal from Delhi's cabinet and Vishwas' mood, it is expected that the AAP's internal fight is going to be intensify. (With inputs from agencies)
