Gujarat police cyber cell arrested two suspects backed by Sikh For Justice (SFJ), a pro-Khalistan group from Madhya Pradesh for threatening to disrupt the fourth India and Australia test match.
New Delhi: Gujarat police cyber cell has arrested two suspects backed by Sikh For Justice (SFJ), a pro-Khalistan group from Madhya Pradesh' Rewa and Satna for threatening to disrupt the fourth test match between India and Australia. Chaitanya Mandlik, DCP, Crime Branch, Gujarat Police said that the threat was issued using SIM box technology during PM Narendra Modi and Australian PM Anthony Albanese's presence in Ahmedabad, reported ANI.
Mandlik said, "Cyber Cell has arrested 2 suspects backed by SFJ, a pro-Khalistan group from MP's Rewa & Satna over threats to disrupt the 4th Test match between India vs Australia. The threat was issued using SIM box technology during PM Modi & Australian PM's presence in Ahmedabad (Mar 9) for the cricket match."

Notably, PM Modi and his Australian counterpart Albanese watched the fourth test match between India and Australia on its first day on March 9.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Australian counterpart Anthony Albanese took a lap of honour at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad's Motera on a golf car on Thursday after they arrived to watch the first day of the fourth Test match between Australia and India.
They took a round of the massive sports arena on a golf car before the start of the fourth Test match between India and Australia. The Prime Ministers handed over Test caps to their respective team captains Rohit Sharma and Steve Smith.
The round of the playing turf on a golf car by the two dignitaries was applauded by the thousands of spectators who had already taken their seats in the world's largest cricket stadium.
