Himachal Pradesh Announces 10-Day Strict 'Covid-19 Curfew' From May 7 To May 16
The announcement comes after a review meeting chaired by HP CM Jai Ram Thakur. Only essential services will be allowed and all offices will remain shut.

Himachal Pradesh on Wednesday announced a 10-day strict 'Coronavirus curfew' from May 7 to May 16 to check spread of unrelenting COVID-19 in the state. The announcement comes after a review meeting chaired by HP CM Jai Ram Thakur. Only essential services will be allowed and all offices will remain shut. People entering the state from outside will need to provide a negative RT-PCR Test report.
Himachal Pradesh on Tuesday recorded 3,824 fresh Covid-19 cases, highest single-day spike in the state and 48 deaths. The Covid-19 death toll in the state now stands at 1,647 and tally at 1,10,945.
