Honda and Akshay Kumar go back a long time as the Hindi movie actor has been their brand ambassador since 2012, appearing in several ads over the years. With his highly anticipated movie “2.0,” also starring South Indian megastar Rajnikanth, set to release on 29 November 2018, Honda has a little treat for all of his fans. They will be releasing limited edition Akshay Kumar-autographed XBlades on the same day. While they haven’t released any images of the same, we guess it will just be a minor livery change rather than something drastic as the bike will retail for the same price as the standard XBlade, i.e. Rs 79.798 (ex-showroom Delhi).

Honda first showcased the XBlade at the Auto Expo earlier this year and then silently launched it in March. The bike is built on the same platform as the CB Unicorn 160 and the CB Hornet 160R but it is certainly the most stylish of the lot. The 163cc single cylinder motor makes 14PS and 13.9Nm.

Honda has not revealed as yet as to how many units of the signed XBlades will be available. Here’s what their official release states:
