PUBG Mobile 1.0 Update: In the ‘New Era’ event, the video gaming company has announced the release date of the much-awaited 1.0 version of PubG Mobile that will offer a gamut of new experiences taking the gaming to its next level. As per the update, the company will release the new update on September 8. The details of the update were shared through a live stream video on YouTube. Let us take you through the PUBG Mobile version 1.0 update and tell you what is to be expected. What is special about Erangel 2.0 map? PUBG PC users have already got a newly revamped Erangel 2.0 map with better graphics but the company was expected to release a similar experience for Mobile. Recently, the PUBG Mobile 1.0 update was launched in beta and videos on YouTube hinted at Erangel 2.0. The new Erangel 2.0 map with certain modifications will bring it at par with the latest Livik map and the earlier revamped Mad Miramar map. Now, it is expected to launch the Erangel 2.0 map along with the version 1.0 update on September 8, as per the Indian Express report. Even as the company did not exactly reveal this, however, it hinted at a mysterious surprise element in the update, which will be revealed once the update is rolled out. Superior graphics At the event, the company also mentioned the new version will bring improved graphics, to enhance the experience and make it more realistic. It means you will get to witness more improvements in the characters, environments, and gunfights. Interaction with particles, smoke muzzle flashes, air blasts, and scopes have also received visual enhancements. Similarly, actions like parachuting, throwing sprites, and sprinting have been optimised, too. In fact the lighting systems, models, and texture quality have been updated to offer more realism. The company has said the update will enable the gameplay experience on middle and low-end devices to improve by up to 30 per cent in terms of FPS and up to 76 per cent in terms of lag reduction. 90Hz mode for everyone As of now, the 90Hz mode experience is limited to compatible OnePlus smartphones. However, with version 1.0 update, the company is aiming to extend the experience to others and said this mode will be made available to all players with high refresh rate smartphones. Not just, it will expand the top graphic setting to a lot more phones. New User Interface Even as the game graphics are set to undergo a major overhaul, the company will introduce a new user interface (UI). The new UI will be divided into three areas: game, social, and store allowing players to get an idea exactly where players are at a certain point of time. The interface will make the navigation much smooth as the player can swipe through multiple areas with just a click of the finger. Not just this, you will witness more customisations where you can move around, add and remove UI elements that will make it much more personal feel.
