NEW DELHI: Reliance Jio's new phone "Jio Phone 2" would be available for online purchase in a flash sale on jio.com on Thursday, August 16. The phone will be available at a price of Rs 2,999. Accordingly, the flash sale for the new model which features a "QWERTY" keypad would start at 12 p.m. on Thursday. Further, starting Wednesday, August 15, all JioPhone models customers would be able to use Facebook, YouTube and Google Maps on their phones, the source said, adding that messaging application Whatsapp would also be available soon.
