Former Cricketer BS Chandrasekhar Admitted To Bengaluru Hospital, Condition Stable
Former Leg spinner, BS Chandrasekhar after complaining of fatigue and was slurring his speech. His condition is stable now.
New Delhi: Former Indian Cricketer, BS Chandrasekhar has been admitted to a private hospital in Bengaluru. According to his wife, Sandhya who told ANI that ‘Chandrasekhar was fine and was watching the match when suddenly he complained of fatigue and was slurring his speech’.
He was taken to the hospital; he was admitted to the ICU but his condition is now stable and is likely to return home in two days.

According to a New18 report, Chandrasekhar suffered a stroke.

BS Chandrasekhar is a top leg spinner from Karnataka. His bowling performances in 1971 earned him being named one of the five Wisden Cricketers of the Year in 1972. He was also awarded the Padmashri in 1972. Chandrasekhar along with E.A.S. Prasanna, Bishen Singh Bedi and Srinivasaraghavan Venkataraghavan constituted the Indian spin quartet who took over spin bowling during the 1960s and 1970s.
On January 2nd 2021, BCCI President Sourav Ganguly was admitted to Woodland Hospital in Kolkata, West Bengal. Ganguly suffered a cardiac arrest. Ganguly was working out at the gym after which he did not feel well and was taken to the hospital where he underwent angioplasty.
He was discharged on January 7th 2021, after being discharged from the hospital Ganguly spoke to ABP Correspondent Kuntal Chakraborty and said, " This is a part of life, things happen, I am absolutely fine now, and in a few days will start working..will depend on how the body will react."
