Pawan Kalyan To Lokesh Nara: Know 24 Ministers Of Andhra's New Chandrababu Naidu Govt

JanaSena Party President Pawan Kalyan has been appointed as the only Deputy Chief Minister in the NDA-led government.

N. Chandrababu Naidu was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh for his fourth term on Wednesday, leading a 25-member Council of Ministers. The swearing-in ceremony took place at Kesarapalli IT Park near Gannavaram Airport in Vijayawada. The ceremony was attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Union Health Minister J.P. Nadda, other Union Ministers, NDA allies' leaders, and Chief Ministers from various states.

Jana Sena Party President Pawan Kalyan has been appointed as the only Deputy Chief Minister in the NDA-led government. The Council of Ministers includes three members from the Jana Sena Party and one from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), with the remaining ministers from the Telugu Desam Party (TDP).

The list of ministers was sent to Governor S. Abdul Nazeer by Naidu, who administered the oath of office and secrecy at 11:27 a.m. Naidu's son and TDP General Secretary Nara Lokesh, TDP's Andhra Pradesh unit president K. Atchannaidu, and Jana Sena Party's political affairs committee chairman Nadendla Manohar are among the key members of the new cabinet.

Naidu's ministerial team was finalised after a meeting with Amit Shah and J.P. Nadda at his residence in Amaravati late on Tuesday night. The team includes 17 new faces, while the remaining members have previously served as ministers. Satya Kumar Yadav is the sole BJP MLA who will be sworn in as a minister. The three ministers from the Jana Sena Party are Pawan Kalyan, Nadendla Manohar, and Kandula Durgesh.

The list of Ministers includes a Muslim leader, 8 from Backward classes, 3 from Scheduled Castes and 1 from Scheduled Tribes. The TDP chief has 4 ministers each from the Kamma and Kappu communities while 3 from Reddy and one from Vysya community. 

Naidu’s leadership and strategic alliances led the NDA to a landslide victory in the recent elections, securing a significant majority in both the state assembly and parliamentary constituencies in Andhra Pradesh.
