BJP National President Nadda To Visit Ludhiana On May 14
Jagat Prakash Nadda, national president of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), will pay a one-day visit to Ludhiana on May 14.
Confirming this, BJP state president Ashwani Sharma stated that Nadda will be in Ludhiana on Saturday to attend the party's convention and mingle with BJP activists.
Sharma stated that the BJP is well prepared for the municipal corporation elections as well as the Lok Sabha byelections in Sangrur.
He put a stop to rumours of an alliance with the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) and stated that the BJP will not form an alliance with the SAD at any cost.
Schools In Punjab To Observe Summer Vacations From May 14
Punjab Chief Minister and AAP leader Bhagwant Mann stated that due to the extreme and unexpected heatwave in the border state, "thousands of parents and teachers" have suggested early summer vacations.
Keeping this in mind, the Punjab government has decided to implement summer vacation in all state schools from May 14, according to news agency ANI.
Kejriwal Calls Meeting Of AAP MLAs In Delhi Over ‘Bulldozer Politics’ On May 14
Arvind Kejriwal, the chief of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), called a meeting of 11 AAP MLAs at his house on Saturday at 11 a.m. to discuss the politics of bulldozers.
The conference is being held in the aftermath of demolition campaigns organized by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-governed local authorities, which have dominated city politics since bulldozers first rolled into Jahangirpuri last month.
The political spat between the two parties heated up again on Friday, with Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia stating he had written to Union Home Minister Amit Shah pleading with him to halt the continuing demolition campaigns.
