IAF To Formally Induct Indigenously-Built Light Combat Helicopter 

The indigenously developed Light Combat Helicopter (LCH) will be formally inducted into the IAF fleet on Monday, as reported by news agency PTI. Induction of 3 Light Combat Helicopters is going to happen at Jodhpur's Air Force Station. 

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and Air Chief Air Chief Marshal VR Chaudhary will be present in the event. Rajnath gave this information by tweeting late on Sunday evening. He wrote, "I would be in Jodhpur, Rajasthan tomorrow, 3rd October, to attend the Induction ceremony of the first indigenously developed Light Combat Helicopters (LCH). The induction of these helicopters will be a big boost to the IAF's combat prowess. Looking forward to it."

This indigenously developed helicopter is capable of firing many missiles and using other weapons. The 5.8-tonne and twin-engined helicopter has already been tested using multiple weapons. The helicopter is capable of attacking from an altitude of 16000 thousand feet to 100 feet above the ground. It also has a 20 mm turn gun and 70 mm rocket system, which can fly bunkers, drones and tanks of enemy countries in the air.

President Murmu On Two-Day Visit To Gujarat From Monday

President Draupadi Murmu will be on a two-day visit to Gujarat from Monday, according to a statement by the Rashtrapati Bhavan. This will be her first visit to Gujarat as President, the statement said.

According to the statement, Murmu will begin her tour on Monday by visiting the Sabarmati Ashram in Ahmedabad.

"Later in the day, she will inaugurate/lay the foundation stone for various projects related to health, irrigation, water supply and port development at GMERS, Gandhinagar," the statement said.
 
In the evening she will attend a reception organised in his honor by the Gujarat government in Gandhinagar.
