Andhra Pradesh CM YS Jagan Releases YSR Rythu Bharosa-PM Kisan Samman Assistance Of Rs 1.03 Cr

A total of Rs 1,036 crore has been disbursed to 50,58,489 people under YSR Raithu Bharosa - PM Kisan Samman Schemes on Monday.

Hyderabad: YSR Rythu Bharosa - Prime Minister Kisan Samman Scheme funds credited to beneficiaries' accounts in Andhra Pradesh on Monday. Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy released the funds from the Thadepalli camp office by pressing a button.

The government has deposited Rs 1,036 crore for a total of 50,58,489 beneficiaries. During the last three years, along with the latest funds, investment assistance of Rs 19,812.79 crore has been provided to farmers or beneficiaries under this scheme.

It is learned that YSR Rythu Bharosa - PM Kisan Samman scheme provides investment assistance to eligible farmers at the rate of Rs. 13,500 per acre in three installments per annum. During the current financial year 2021–22, Rs 5,863.67 crore has been disbursed to 50.37 lakh farmer families in two tranches.

Of this, Rs 3,848.33 crore was deposited by the state government under the YSR Rythu Bharosa scheme and Rs 2,015.34 crore by the Central government under the PM Kisan Samman scheme.

Of the overall beneficiaries, 48,86,361 are landowners and 68,737 are tenants, including 82,251 farmers cultivating Recognition of Forest Rights (ROFR) lands. The state government has deposited Rs 7,500 per hectare under YSR Rythu Bharosa to the landowners and Rs 4,000 provided by the Center under PM Kisan.

 Of the 1,50,988 eligible tenants in the first two tranches, ROFR farmers were fully credited to their accounts by the state government under the Rythu Bharosa scheme with Rs 11,500 in two tranches.

In the third tranche, 48,86,361 landowners will have to pay Rs 977.27 crore under the PM Kisan Samman scheme at the rate of Rs 2,000, while 1,50,988 ROFRs, who were previously eligible, will get Rs 30.20 crore under the YSR Rythu Bharosa at Rs 2,000 the state government is paying. Today, the state government is depositing Rs 28.53 crore at Rs 13,500 in one installment under the YSR Rythu Bharosa to 21,140 tenants who have obtained Crop Cultivator Rights Cards (CCRC). Together, the three tranches will provide investment assistance of Rs 6,899.67 crore to 50,58,489 people in 2021–22.

CM Jagan left for Delhi on Monday afternoon after a YSR Rythu Bharosa program. CM Jagan had an appointment with Prime Minister Narendra Modi at around 4 pm. During the meeting, CM Jagan will have the opportunity to discuss several issues related to the state with Prime Minister Modi. The issue of early elections also seems likely to come up for discussion.
