New Delhi: Top International designer brands including Dior, Chanel, Schiaparelli, and Giorgio Armani Privé are all set to display their stunning pieces in the Paris Couture Week 2022 which will extend from July 4th to July 7th. Balenciaga announced that it will open a couture store on the same day their ramp walk show will be held on July 6th. They will stage their designs at the brand’s original 1937 couture atelier near the Champs Elysee. 

Many other global design houses will display their latest haute couture collection on the stage of Paris Couture Week. The designs displayed here are all about grandeur. These outfits are cut from the best fabrics and attention is paid to every minute detail.

 After Delhi-based couturier, Rahul Mishra, the first Indian designer to have been invited by the committee of the Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture in 2022, Sudha Reddy, Hyderabad-based philanthropist, businesswoman and fashion icon will debut as the first South Indian Celebrity outside of the Film Industry to represent India on the front row. 

Striking a balance between European luxury and Indian heritage, Reddy will be seen sporting looks from high end fashion brands like Christian Dior, Chanel, Giambattista Valli, Balmain and Armani. Adorned with jewels by Krishaa Ghanasingh, a propelling local atelier, Reddy will indeed make a spectacular debut at the Haute Couture Week. 

Sudha Reddy said “The artistry and expertise behind Haute Couture Week make up one of the world's great creative endeavours and I am incredibly excited to have been extended this gesture. Highlighting the rich artistic lineage of India will be my core agenda during this visit. The inclusion of Rahul Mishra in Paris Haute Couture Week is a mark of India being an Integral part of the ever-evolving landscape of haute couture. The craftsmanship from India needs to be celebrated at every stage.”

In addition to attending the shows of high-end fashion brands, Reddy has also accepted invitations to private dinners with Creative Directors hosted by some luxury Maison. Her glam team unites some of the best International and Indian talents including Danish-born makeup artist Charlotte Willer, Zimbabwe-raised session hairdresser Peter Gray, New York-based celebrity stylist Ise White and Mumbai-based fashion photographer Rahul Jhangiani.

Some renowned fashion and beauty influencers have also sent special invitations, including Juhi Godambe, Aashna Shroff, Massom Minawala, and Tanya Ghavri.
