Viral video: Father forces son for brutal 'boxing match' as punishment for skipping school

New Delhi: A Virginia father has invited trouble for himself after he posted a video on Facebook of himself boxing with his 17-year-old son. The father said his son had been misbehaving in school and this was to teach him a lesson. The father, in the video, said that his son walked out of his class. He didn't call or tell him about what happened and also, he didn't come home, father said. "All day went by, he didn't call. So now it's discipline time because he didn't do what I told him to do. He chooses to do what he wants to do," he said and added "Discipline for not following my directions. Secondly, teaching him how to defend himself." The father turns the camera around and puts boxing gloves on of his son. "Let's go. You gonna cut up in school, this is what you gotta deal with when you come home," the father, who has been identified as Tavis Sellers, said. The father lays down several solid hits on the son. In the video, at one point, you can hear the teen start crying. "I ain't worried about blood. I ain't worried about blood. Look at the wall," he said. After sometime, they stop. "Clean yourself up," the Tavis Sellers said. The video has been viewed millions of times. According to media reports, the father is now facing domestic assault and battery charges and his son has been removed from the home.
