New Delhi: Uorfi Javed is known for her unique sense of fashion and the ability to create an outfit out of anything under the sky. Interestingly, she knows how to carry any outfit boldly, whether it's out of ropes, watches, blades or even safety pins for that matter. Though the actor is often trolled for her fashion choices, she continues to speak up her mind and be bold and beautiful.
Talking about her outfits, recently, she was seen in something created out of bamboo baskets or 'tokris'. Uorfi created a unique dress using the ropes out of the bamboo baskets. The colour of the outfit was the same as the basket and she had also added braids to certain parts of it.
Sharing the video of her outfit on Instagram, she captioned the post saying, "Made this from baas ki tokri, I feel this is a dying art now . It always amazed me how these artisans used bamboo strings to make such amazing utensils, chairs, and tables. Blows my mind."

A number of well-known designers have praised Uorfi and recognized her extraordinary and distinctive sense of style. Urfi recently had the chance to wear an outfit created by designers like Abu Jani, Sandeep Khosla, Anaita Shroff, and others. In return, Uorfi praised them for noticing her and allowing her the opportunity to serve as their model.
She said, "I am thrilled to be dressed by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla. They are masters of what they do and have made me feel all the more empowered with their acceptance of who I am. No designers would give me clothes which is why I started making my own. Abu Sandeep has changed that for me.", Hindustan Times quoted her as saying.
