Termite Infestation: Get Rid Of Termites In Furniture With Help Of These Home Remedies

In the rainy season, we often see that wood starts to swell due to moisture, and the rainy season also increases termite.

New Delhi: These days even though the furniture is being made of metals such as stainless steel, most household items still have furniture made up of wood. In the rainy season, we often see that wood starts to swell due to moisture in the air, and the rainy season also increases termite problems.

Termites are harmful to wood furniture. If you face this problem, you can adopt these tips to get rid of termites.

1. Keep It In sunlight: If you are worried about a termite attack on the furniture kept in the house, then keep it in sunlight. The natural heat of sunlight kills the breeding eggs of these insects. Keep it in sunlight twice a week to keep it protected from termites.

2. Use Oils: If your furniture is infested with termites, you can use natural oils to drive them away. Oils from orange, neem, clove, and garlic can be used to get rid of termites. Wrap the wood areas infested with termites in a cloth or cotton pad and then apply the natural oil. All insects will die in one to two days.

3. Use Boric Acid: We all know that boric acid has properties that can kill any insect. It works like a neurotoxin for termites. Put the boric acid powder in the furniture wherever the termite attack is visible. You can also add Boric Acid to water and spray it. All insects will die shortly after spraying it.

4. Use Salt: Salt is considered to be a staunch enemy of termites. It kills the insects. To make the spray, make salt and hot water solution and spray it on a termite-infested area. The insects will die in one to two days.
