A restaurant in New Jersey has created a special thali for Prime Minister Narendra Modi ahead of his upcoming visit to the United States, news agency ANI reported. Shripad Kulkarni, the restaurant's owner who is of Indian origin, stated that the thali has been specially curated to meet the needs of the Indian community who live there.
Kulkarni can be seen in a video shared by ANI discussing the "Modi Ji" thali. Khichdi, rasgulla, sarson ka saag, Kashmiri dum aloo, idli, dhokla, chaach, papad, and other delectable dishes from across India are included in the colourful thali.
Many people have already tried the special thali, according to the restaurant owner. Several customers, who appear in the video, stated that they enjoyed the food and that the thali is very popular among the Indian community. The thali's cost has not been disclosed.
It is to be noted that Prime Minister Modi will be in the United States from June 21 to June 24, at the invitation of US President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden. It will be his first official visit to Washington.

Meanwhile, the White House stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to the US will be an opportunity to reaffirm the US-India partnership.
Several prominent Indian-Americans will join PM Modi on the north lawns of the UN complex in New York on June 21, where he will lead the International Yoga Day event.
On June 22, over 7,000 Indian Americans are expected to gather on the South Lawns of the White House, where President Biden and the First Lady will greet the Prime Minister with a 21-gun salute.
