Mumbai: 51-year-old woman again joins college to be graduate

There is no age for education, this saying has been proved right once again by a woman here in Mumbai. After taking a break of 30 years, a 51-year-old woman joined college. The woman, name not revealed, talks about her experience of enrolling in college to be a graduate. "After my 12th standard I had to give up my education to get married. It was a joint family, so continuing my education was not an option, but somewhere within me I always felt like I had missed out... that I wanted to study further," she says. In 2013, she enrolled herself for a Bachelor degree in Commerce and now she is in her third year, preparing for final exams. She talks about her experience on the Humans of Bombay Facebook page.
