Milkha Singh hits back at Salim Khan, says Bollywood hasn't done any favours with biopic

New Delhi: Indian athletics legend Milkha Singh has hit back at Bollywood superstar Salman Khan’s father Salim Khan by saying that the movie industry hasn’t done any favour by making a film on him. "It's a free world,I can say whatever I want and if Salimji has said something about me, I don't mind it," Milkha Singh said on Tuesday. "But I do believe people who have given their sweat & blood for Sports should be made ambassadors", he asserted. Salim has tried to defend his son’s appointment as the goodwill ambassador of the Indian contingent for the Rio Olympic Games. The move to appoint Salman was questioned by several members of the Indian sports fraternity, including Milkha and 2012 London Olympics wrestling bronze medallist Yogeshwar Dutt. "I can understand his feelings. He loves me whole-heartedly.Grateful to him", Milkha Singh said.
