Custard Cake Recipe: Nowadays people find it very easy to make cakes at home. Cakes that are homemade are excellent in taste and low on calorie content. Whenever you feel like having something sweet, you can make a cake and eat it. Today we will be telling you a very simple way to make cakes. You must have made kheer (porridge) or fruit custard from custard, but rarely cakes. You can make cakes easily with custard and maida.

Ingredients for Custard Cake

  • 1 cup maida
  • 1/4 cup custard powder
  • 1/2 cup sugar  
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1.5 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 cup olive oil 

Custard Cake Recipe

  • To make cake with custard, sieve flour, vanilla custard powder and baking soda into a bowl and mix it.
  • If you want, you can mix these three things well and then sieve again.
  • Put the sugar in a mixer and grind well.
  • Add olive oil or butter to sugar and mix well.
  • Mix this mixture well with the custard powder mixture.
  • Also add milk in the batter so that the batter does not become very thick. Mix the batter well until smooth.
  • Now grease the cake tin with ghee or butter. Put the prepared butter in the tin. 
  • Now to make the cake add salt to a cooker to and heat it on high flame for 7-8 minutes.
  • Now place stand over the salt and place the batter container in the cooker.
  • Now remove the whistle from the and close the lid and bake the cake on medium flame for 40-50 minutes. 
  • After about 40 minutes, check the cake once with the help of a knife.
  • When the cake is ready, keep it aside to cool for about 2 hours. 
  • After a couple oh hours, cut the cake in desired shape and serve it.
  • And a tasty and spongy cake is ready to eat Children love this cake.
  • You can also keep in a box and store it in the refrigerator. This cake won't spoil for about a week.
