They walk the red carpet in huge gowns of different designs, looking their absolute best and unique. As audiences, we are indeed thrilled to take a look at their outfits and some of which become so famous that they are remembered for years to come.
But, have you wondered how they manage to sit and watch the movies screened at the event in those heavy outfits? Well, an Instagram influencer by the name 'Diet Sabya' made some interesting revelations about what actually happens on the red carpet of the coveted film festival.
Replying to one of his Instagram stories, one of his fans asked him, "Talking of breathing, I am genuinely curious to know that all the celebs wear this extravagant clothing on the carpet for some movie premiere and go inside to watch the movie. How do they sit for almost two hours for the movie, or do they change before going into the theatre?"
To this, diet Sabya said, "Little known fact, but the celebs walking for brands don't actually watch the movie. They walk the carpet, they exit from the back door, and back to their hotels. It is all a part of deliverables committed to brands."
He further went on to add, "The crew watches it, jury watches it, actually invitees watch it, movie industry folks watch it etc. etc."
To this, a user replied, "And that effort just for pictures? Insane"
Additionally, Diet Sabya also revealed that the paps present there click the pictures and then hand out their cards so that the celebs can buy their photos. He then added, "This year some are giving out QR Codes"
Later, on being asked whether this thing happens at MET also, Diet Sabya also said, "The gatekeeping by Vogue for MET is hectic and they simply do not allow randos."
