Ayodhya Ram Mandir: Decorations On Rampath And Bhakti Path Include Terracotta And Mural Artifacts- SEE PICS
Four routes have been established in Ayodhya- Bhakti Path, Ramjanmabhoomi Path, Ram Path, and Dharma Path, which represent a fusion of art and modern eminities.
It's just 2 days left for the consecration of Ramlala and right now the country has all eyes on Ayodhya. Pictures, Ram Bhajans and stories from the Ramayana are doing the rounds of the internet and amidst all this, Ayodhya is being decked up to welcome Lora Rama, just like it had been done in the mythological tales when he had returned from an exile spanning fourteen years.
Authorities are leaving no stone unturned to welcome thousands of people, including VVIPs and the town, is bustling with activity. The city roads have undergone a complete makeover, with beautification in progress.
Talking about the roads, four fresh routes have been established in Ayodhya, drawing inspiration from the four Vedas- The Bhakti Path, the Ramjanmabhoomi Path, the Ram Path, and the Dharma Path. These pathways represent a fusion of art and modern eminities. Solar-powered lighting will illuminate the streets, and WiFi connectivity will be available on lanes adorned with murals, wall paintings, and sculptures made of pebble stones.
Ram Path And Bhakti Path:
The road connecting Nayaghat to Sahadatganj is now designated as Rampath, spanning a distance of 13 kilometers. Reportedly, over two dozen temples and more than a dozen mosques had to be removed to build this road. According to officials from the district administration, the road was initially two lanes, but it has now been replaced with a 40 feet wide road. The structures, establishments, and shops flanking both sides of the road are undergoing a uniform makeover in terms of design and colour.
Bus shelters along Ram Path, have been decorated with artworks themed on Ramayana, catching the eyes of passersby and ornamental lamp posts bearing the design of 'Ramanandi tilak' and other religious symbols on top, have been installed along the median of Ram Path as part of the redevelopment project.
The Ram Path connects Lata Mangeshkar Chowk and Sahadat Ganj and more than 2,000 houses and shops were rebuilt to develop this pathway. The shop shutters now have Hindu symbols, such as shankh, trishul, gada and swastika, and the houses have also been painted in shades of peach with white temple-shaped motifs.
Every shutter in Ayodhya’s arterial ‘ram path’ road has been painted over with religious symbols of one religion; even shopkeepers who are not practising Hindus had to choose from a list of symbols like trishul, damru, JSR, swastika, and more.

In addition, cut-outs bearing images of Lord Ram have been placed on the median of the Ram Path while continuous chants of 'Siya Ram' and 'Jai Siya Ram' can be heard in the streets, playing out of loudspeakers installed at temples in the vicinity.
Ram Path gives way to the Bhakti Path, ultimately leading to Hanuman Garhi. Along the Bhakti Path, shops and residences have been adorned with a saffron hue, distinguishing it from the Ram Path.
