A day after Karnataka Home Minister G Parameshwara revealed that investigators probing the Bengaluru Rameshwaram Cafe blast case have obtained a crucial lead, the investigators released an image of the suspect without a mask on the BMTC bus on Thursday.

At the same time, if sources are to be believed, the police have also created a sketch of the suspect. However, they are yet to officially release the sketch.

A new CCTV footage of the suspect has also emerged.

Previously, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) declared a cash reward of Rs. 10 lakh for any information about the bomber involved in the Rameshwaram Cafe blast incident in Bengaluru. Additionally, the NIA provided assurance that the identity of the informant would be safeguarded and kept confidential.

On March 1, ten people sustained injuries in Rameshwaram cafe situated on the International Technology Park Limited (ITPL) Road within the Whitefield vicinity.

Following the transfer of the case by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), NIA investigators visited the blast site on Tuesday. The team also conducted inquiries with the cafe staff. Sources indicate that an investigation under the supervision of NIA Inspector General Santosh Rastogi will commence shortly. The NIA team is also scheduled to convene a meeting with the state police department.
