Arrest Warrant Issued Against JD(S) MP Prajwal Revanna In Sexual Assault Case
An arrest warrant has been issued by a special MP-MLA court against JD(S) MP Prajwal Revanna.
A special MP-MLA court in Bengaluru has issued an arrest warrant against Janata Dal (Secular) MP Prajwal Revanna in the sexual assault case. A blue corner notice has also been issued against him by the Interpol after three cases of sexual assault were registered by three women against the NDA's Hassan Lok Sabha candidate who is at large.
The arrest warrant was issued by the court in connection with the sexual assault case registered against Prajwal on Saturday in which his father and Holenarasipura MLA H D Revanna is also an accused.
Son of former Prime Minister H D Deve Gowda, Revanna is currently on bail after spending seven days in jail following four-day police custody for allegedly kidnapping a woman.
Trouble began for the JD(S) MP after large number of explicit videos showing women being sexually assaulted by him went public.

The Karnataka government has formed a Special Investigation Team (SIT) on the recommendations of Karnataka State Commission for Women chairperson Nagalakshmi Chowdhary to probe the case.
On Saturday, Deve Gowda reacted to the entire controversy for the first time saying he has no objection if action is taken against his grandson if he is proven guilty. He also said that the cases against his son, JD(S) MLA H D Revanna, were fabricated.
"HD Kumaraswamy has already spoken on behalf of our family and party regarding the allegations against Prajwal Revanna and HD Revanna," Deve Gowda said.
"It is imperative for the government to pursue all possible legal avenues against Prajwal Revanna," he added.
"However, it is evident that the cases against HD Revanna were orchestrated to target him. Many people have been implicated in this case. It is essential that all those involved are held accountable, and justice is delivered to all the victim women," he said.
