Karnataka: HD Kumaraswamy Takes Jibe At RSS, Says, 'Nothing To Learn From Those Watching Blue Film In Assembly'

The statement was a response to Karnataka BJP President Nalin Kumar Kateel who invited Kumaraswamy to come to an RSS Shakha to learn about the Sangh's works.

Chennai: Former Karnataka Chief Minister and JD(S) leader HD Kumaraswamy took a jibe at the RSS on Tuesday and said that he has nothing to learn from RSS "Shakha" as the people trained in the institutions have been caught watching "blue film" in the Karnataka Assembly during the session. The JD(S) leader said the statement while he was campaigning for the by-polls scheduled on October 30 as a response to an invite of the BJP state president.

Earlier, Karnataka BJP President Nalin Kumar Kateel invited Kumaraswamy to come to an RSS Shakha to learn about the Sangh's works.

According to a report on PTI, Kumaraswamy on Tuesday said that he doesn’t want the companionship (of RSS) nor he has anything to learn from them. He said, "Didn’t we see what was taught to them in RSS Shakha and how they behaved in Vidhana Soudha?..Watching blue films during the Assembly session. Wasnt that taught at RSS Shakha and why should I have to go there to learn this?," he asked.

He also said that he does not want to learn from RSS Shakha since what he learned from the Shakha of the poor was more than enough. Also, the BJP governments in the state and the Union are functioning based on the instructions of the RSS and even PM Modi is their "puppet", he added.
