Bengaluru: Man Jumps Before Metro Train, Purple Line Operations Disrupted

The man died after jumping onto a train track and being hit by a moving train at Attiguppe Metro Station on Thursday afternoon.

A man died after jumping onto a train track and being hit by a moving train at Attiguppe Metro Station in Bengaluru on Thursday afternoon. The incident resulted in the disruption of Purple Line Namma Metro services. 
 
According to ANI, Bengaluru Metro said, "This is to inform that one person has jumped in front of the train at Attiguppe station at the 2.10 pm . Presently trains are running only between Magadi road to Whitefield Feild and no services between magadi road to Challaghatta . fKI."
 
 
 
BMRCL officials are attempting to resume train services between Magadi Road and Challaghatta.
