Amit Shah also dismissed any alliance with any of the parties including JD(S) in the state.

Chennai: Union Home Minister Amit Shah gave the nod for cabinet expansion in Karnataka to include discontented BJP MLAs including KS Eshwarappa and Ramesh Jarkihjoli ahead of the run-up for the state elections in 2023.

Amit Shah also discussed key poll strategy during a meeting with booth level and grassroot level workers ahead of the Karnataka Assembly elections 2023. The meeting was also attended by Minister Araga Jnanendra and National Secretary CT Ravi.

The Minister also told the party members to ensure that BJP emerges "number one" in old Mysuru region.

The BJP is slightly "weak" in old Mysuru since the region is dominated by Vokkaliga community members. Therefore, BJP is taking all-out efforts to make their mark felt in the region during the upcoming elections.

Amit Shah also dismissed any alliance with any of the parties including JD(S) in the state.
