In the session titled 'The Outsider's Uphill Battle', Kiara Advani will discuss the challenges that come with trying to break into the entertainment industry.
New Delhi: The third edition of ABP Network's 'Ideas Of India Summit' is here. Notable luminaries from different domains will be present at the event, which is scheduled for February 23 and 24. The discourse about female actors' career span in Bollywood will be addressed by actress Kiara Advani, who will provide her perspective on the persistent biases in the Hindi film industry.
In the session titled 'The Outsider's Uphill Battle', Kiara will discuss the challenges that come with trying to break into the entertainment industry and what it takes to make it in an industry that is so fiercely competitive.
Kiara Advani, who has made appearances in Telugu films as well, has become an established actor in Hindi cinema. The actor never had to look back after making her acting debut in 'Fugly' in 2014. Following that, she co-starred in the sports biopic 'M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story' with the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Aside from the popular flicks, Kiara's breakthrough performance was in the Netflix anthology 'Lust Stories'.
She was nominated for the Filmfare Award for Best Actress for her roles as Vikram Batra's girlfriend in the war movie Shershaah (2021) and the romantic drama Satyaprem Ki Katha (2023).
