New Delhi: While the Omicron variant is known to be milder than the variants before but it is known to be spread rapidly. However, the symptoms are still being discovered of the variant, a new one is rashes. 

During omicron, people suffer from problems like sore throat, cold, cough, fatigue and body ache. But if you experience this symptom you may have Covid-19 and should get tested.

Let's look at these symptoms closely:

Pityriasis Rosea: It is a benign rash that usually begins as a large circular or oval rash on your chest, abdomen, or back. The circular patch known as the herald patch can be up to 4 inches wide. Such patches are often triggered by viral infections that are mostly seen in children and young people. This rash comes for some time after 4 days of Covid.

Oral Rash: This is also known as enanthem. There is another symptom of covid. In this, a rash appears on the lips, which makes the mouth look dry and scaly. In some cases, a person may also experience pain in the lips. At the same time, there can be swelling inside the mouth, due to which one may have difficulty in eating and talking.

Hives: Hives are a kind of rash that appears suddenly in a few hours. In this, the skin becomes red, itchy and swollen. Its size may vary. It can also be itchy.
