Now TVs Outside Hospitals For Relatives To See Covid-19 Patients? Here’s What Maharashtra Govt Is Planning

Talking to the media, Maharashtra Deputy CM Ajit Pawar spoke about the Covid-19 jumbo hospitals, their communique to the centre and measures adopted for upcoming assembly session.

Mumbai: In an interesting step, Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra Ajit Pawar revealed that officials have been directed to install CCTV cameras in jumbo Covid-19 hospitals. Additionally, a television will be installed outside so that family members and/or relatives can see the patient. ALSO READ | India Covid-19 Cases Stats: As India Clocks 4 Million Covid-19 Cases; Here's A Look At Some Alarming Facts We Cannot Ignore Talking to the media, Maharashtra Deputy CM Ajit Pawar said, "I have asked officials to install CCTVs inside jumbo Covid Hospital and a TV outside it so that relatives of the patients can at least see their patients inside through TV since they can't enter the hospital". Earlier, he also stated that the central gonvernment have been informed about the ratio to be followed for providing oxygen cylinders that are needed in health services and industries. "We have informed Center through Union Minister Prakash Javadekar, that oxygen cylinders should be provided to health facilities at a 50-50 ratio, so that equal share is supplied to both health services and industries.": Ajit Pawar had said.
