New Delhi: The fourth season of Amazon Prime Video’s period comedy-drama web series ‘The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel’ is one of the much-awaited shows. The third season of the popular web series premiered on December 6, 2019, and since then, viewers have been eagerly waiting for its next season.
The makers of ‘The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel’ finally released a teaser of the upcoming season and announced the premiere date of the popular American series. Sharing the post on social media, Amazon Prime Video wrote on Instagram, “Ready or not, here she comes. Season 4 of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel premieres February 18”.
The fourth season of ‘The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel’ will premiere on the OTT platform Amazon Prime Video on February 18, 2022.
Featuring Rachel Brosnahan in the role of the protagonist Miriam ‘Midge’ Maisel, this web series is set in the late 1950s and the struggles of being a woman stand-up comedian during those unprecedented times. The plot revolves around a housewife who discovers her knack for stand-up comedy and decides to pursue a career in this field and stand out in the world dominated by ‘the men’.
Other than Rachel Brosnahan, ‘The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel’ also features Alex Borstein, Michael Zegen, Marin Hinkle, Tony Shalhoub, Kevin Pollak, Caroline Aaron and Jane Lynch in pivotal roles.
‘The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel’ has bagged several awards including the Primetime Emmy Award, Golden Globe Award for Best Comedy series. The lead actress Rachel also earned critical acclamation for her performance and won Emmy Award and Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in comedy series.
